Forums - Nintendo Discussion - WOAH. Smash Wii U looks GORGEOUS!!

Wow, am I the only one who was utterly shocked by the graphics when they booted up and started play Smash for Wii U the first time? From everything I had seen I expected the graphics to just be decent at best. But everything looks so crisp and clear, and some stages are incredible to look at. The Super Mario Galaxy stage in particular is so breathraking I was barely able to focus on the fight. Mediocre looking graphics was always the one thing I wasn't crazy about in vids/pics of this game over the last year. Either some major work was done to the graphics these last few months or else the screenshots and videos just did not do this game justice whatsoever. I'd say it's not too far off MK8's level graphically.

I think Nintendo games tend to look better in motion for some reason.

It's very pretty, but Nintendo art style is pretty basic.

That's the thing, pics do the game no justice. Neither do low quality internet vids. You gotta see it running on a big HD TV to get how good it looks.

There is beauty in simplicity.

60fps.

Nintendo has been on a roll lately. Mario kart 8, bayonetta 2, super Mario 3d world, hyrule warriors, super smash bros., pokemon, Kirby, toad treasure tracker, wow.

Nintendo should have an amazing Christmas season. So many awesome games and bundles to choose from.

Yep! That Final Destination Stage! Fap Fap Fap
