Not yet. I can't download 20GB games, so 24h demos, MS bundles with digital vouchers and 15GB day 1 patches all do nothing to win me back.

I'm waiting for a store bundle with a physical copy included, 399,- with 1TB drive means sold.
A fix for the gamma shift would be nice too, but I can adjust my set for that as I did for the 360.

MS is on the right track, however still ignores people with crappy internet.

Considering that most of the consumer base that would be interested in buying a new console has decent internet, you can't expect MS to lower profit margins for almost no gain by bundling in physical software. Look, I sympathise with you, but blaming MS is not right, especially when Sony and Nintendo have both done it this gen. There is a big chance digital is the future, so at this point console manufacturers will do everything they can to promote digital media.

I see it more that MS is mostly interested in the consumer base with great internet. Which is fine, I'm not blaming them, much better margins to be made from people with unlimited internet willing to spend the same on digital downloads and movies. For someone like me, who sticks with physical media for full games and movies, they're simply not doing much to win me back.
I can wait for the slim revision and buy the, by then, discounted physical games.

Gotcha. Well, hopefully one day internet will be cheap and abundant enough that things like this won't be a problem anymore.

No because its not free and I don't have any money hmp!

As a 360 owner since 2005, MS has sent me on a roller coaster of support and contempt throughout the years. As of now, I am pretty much back on board, and was close to buying an Xbone ($320 at Target with AC Unity and $50 gift card is tempting) if not for my current financial situation. Since they have gone back on their DRM crap, and releasing a steady stream of quality looking games that interest me like Advanced Warfare, Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive, Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4, and the inevitable Gears 4.. I'm definitly set on buying an Xbone, whereas not longer than a year ago I had sworn them off forever. Now it's just a matter of getting some $. Until then, I have more than enough 360/Wii U/Smash/Steam gaming goodness to hold me over..

+1 =(...

People might not understand this and think it is silly, but I have basically sworn off Microsoft as a company as a whole years ago. Except for a copy of Windows 7 two years ago, I have not given them a dime.

So they will never win me over, no matter what. If I was given an XBox One for free, I would probably just reject it or sell it. I have absolutely no interest.

I'm not sure that's the case actually. I know at least in the UK, there are lots of places where the best internet connection you can get is a few meg. Until 2 weeks ago I was stuck on 5mb. It's now 36mb, but I don't think I'd have liked the prospect of such big day 1 updates before I could play my game. Heck a lot of people have 20gb monthly caps from ISPs here too.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I lost all trust in Microsoft and I don't know if it will ever come back. Sorry.

Not really. My PS4 is doing just fine, and because I'm a patient man, next year looks awesome.
