Hold on.... so you have no idea what good it will do a company bleeding money if they are the best selling platform in the console gaming industry by a very large margin? Are you even making sense?

Please quit posting to this thread about this. My posts are irrelavent. If you would like to contact for further explanation, do so via the email box. In short, I was mixing game and entirety of sony which doesn't make sense. Just got mixed up for a second, it happens.

NO it will not reach 50% during the holiday. It will be just the opposite. The percentage will go down.

With both the WiiU and XB1's inflated holiday sales (yes, the PS4 will inflate too), the large gap between the PS4 and the XB1/WiiU in sales will reverse for this period.

Come Jan 2015, the trend will start towards 50% again....

It is near the end of the end....

It will surely because of PS experience event which will show some bombs and promises of early next year with exclusives and big 3rd party games existence. So mostly lot of people will buy PS4 during christmas and New year when it will be cheap in december with offers.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

I actually agree with you. Though all teh PS4 has to do to keep marching towards that 50% mark is to just sell more than the XB1+WiiU combined. With WiiU sales as bad as they are and have been, the wiiU could pretty much gurantee that that happens.

On another note, I would think people should have learnt not to bet against the PS4 by now. Dating back to Feb 20th 2013 when the PS4 was unveiled... if we made a list of all the "impossible" "can't happen" predictions that were made in relation to the PS4 it would make for a rather convincing list of failed predictions.

It's possible, it only has about 600K left to go as of the 8th but as sales inflate for the holidays it's going to be tough for the PS4 to maintain it's lead.

Either the end of this year or the beginning of next year. Then it's off to the races for the PS4.
