That seems like a lot of speculation. The 3DS has a lot of games yet, it is selling in a similar pattern as the vita. Sales are mostly in Japan while North America and Europe the sales have declined a lot compared to last gens handhelds. Look at the links; the vita was dead on arrival it never took off in N. America and Europe.

Sorry, but your excuse that the Vita has no games seems idealistic. The console never did good and giving the Vita more games would have likely led to a very small amount of a continual sales rate increase outside of Japan. It is just not worth it to Sony to waste more capital on a failed handheld.

3DS support in usa is awfull compared to Japan too.

Look how Vita sale improve in Japan when support improved if Vita and that without any of the biggest Ip's in Japan like Metal gear solid,Monster hunter,Final fantasy etc.

Vita never had a good support and that's why it doing bad,the same thing happen to wii u in west

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

There is no way PES sold less than 200K??? The best sports game in GamesCom and Paris game show with big Hype after the demo?? I would say 200-300k Under tracked.

Have a look a Previous sales. I would say this is pretty good sales for the franchise. Almost 350k on PS3+PS4 first week.
