Probably not... I think Japanese people will mostly be happy with the 3ds version regardless of the exclusive modes of the wiiU version

No Im saying if even the most hardcore of gamers in the west ignore 99% of Japans reviews then Im sure its similar in Japan. The general public in Japan havent even heard of IGN. Hell even at TGS people didnt know who IGN were =P

reviews don't have a lot of impact on the general public as they don't read game review sites, word of mouth, marketing and visibility are key. Many great games have sold poorly and many aweful games have sold really well.
