Microsoft did not day that.
They were talking shipped, which is going to be higher this time of year leading into Christmas and retailers stock up.
And they said close, CLOSE.
If there making an announcement why did they not give us the actual numbers? Why not wait until 10 million sold?
Most likely they are nowhere close to 10 million shipped but were desperate to release good news.
And the PS4 surpassed 10 million sold over three months ago.

XBOX ONE is undertracked in UK by 170K in the UK, but is overtracked by 150K just in the US... Also, XOne is overtracked in Germany by 10K...
The XOne number are probabily correct, and if is undertracked is by MAXIMUM 200K...

Do you realize that Xbox brand is basically irrelevant outside USA+UK right?

If they undertrack x1 in UK... would not surprise me if it was undertrack in other countries too.

It's not puzzling,it's a historical fact.
X360 with all the advantages it had(price,image,third party exclusives at first half of the gen,1 year alone in the market) Sold way less than PS3 with all the problems it had(price,no gaemz,The cell,1 year behind)
Do you really think that Xone with all the problems it had will show a good performance there?
