I don't want to get banned so I will not mention any consoles. Will multiplats be affected? I would hate to see games be limited because of one console or the other. How does this play out? Will COD 2020 look like COD 2015?

Meh, 720p to 1080p isn't even that big a difference to me.

My tv can't even play 720p properly, I don't really care. Fps's are another story.

1080p is just a good way to skip AA.


I would play a game that is 720p 30fps on the PS4 and have sexual graphics and mad physics. Just bump up the AA.

Developers will have to think creatively for once and instead of relying only on horse power and polygon count, they have to try to impress in other ways such as great art direction, strong focus on gameplay and great story telling! Those that can't will suffer and potentially go bankrupt as games with superior art direction will roll all over them, those that already do or can do will continue to go their own creative ways!

Lol. General people don't care about resolution. Look at Wii which ruled with 480p and PS3 made a comeback with 640p. Gaming forum people think this is an issue. But if you see from general peoples perspective the situation changes.
