Forums - Gaming Discussion - Titanfall Has 7 Million Unique Users

EA and Respawn have announced the Titanfall Deluxe Edition for release later this month. The new bundle wraps up the base game and all three DLC packs at a discount.

If you were eyeing the game in March but decided to pass (or haven’t been back in a while), you might be interested to see some of the features that have been implemented along the way (likeFrontier Defense). Respawn put together a video to bring you up to speed.

The video makes mention of the fact that the game now has 7 million unique users, the most definition we've had around the title's performance yet.

Makes sense with resale, numerous profiles on Xbox One + 360 and PC sales.

Wow... so much?

Meh, just went on there a few days ago and the game on Xbox One is practically a Ghost town.

Hmm, I wonder if they count the 48 hours free-trial that origin users have been getting recently

Less than I would've expected with all the sales ($10 PC, $20 XB1) and Game Time on Origin (free for everyone for a 48 hour period)

Of course they do, I'm probably one of them, same way Sony said 'There are so and so many PS users.' yet there were thousands of people creating new accounts in different regions to have access to different stores.

Hmm, pie.

Titanfall 7m after 7 months
Destiny 9.5m after 1 month

Not that bad.
I'm not sure, how much the free weekend helped. The hype was over and how many people out there even noticed the trial and load 50gb for 2 days to play. Thousands for sure. But i doubt hundred of thousands.

I wouldn't even trust internal numbers that MS came forward with backed by evidence supported from major retailers.
Much less some rather insubstantive "unique users" data.

$10 pc sale anyone.
