Woman are free to do what they want with their bodies, but man can't use her if she allows? Or if she claims she didn't want then it's rape? Crazy new world.

I was honestly shocked when I saw how many women (and a few white knights) supported the idea of withdrawn consent.

There are some feminazi that push the agenda that if your wife don't want sex but you force or pressure her in any way then it should be considered rape. Some judges have ruled it down asserting that sex is part of the matrimonial contract. Then people wonder so many cheat each other. Feminazis are on a crusade to destroy society. It baffles me how much they blame men for all problems, say they are equally capable, smart and strong but need speciou right.

Of course it should be considered rape if you force her, forced intercourse is the very definition of rape.

I agree that a game marketed towards adults should not have to be censored. However what exactly does having the ability to have sex with prostitutes add to GTA. Do people actually think this feature adds to the game at all? I imagine the only people that actually bother to do it are probably teenagers, cause them kids be randy these days.

But yeah it's not Rockstars responsibility in the slightest, it just puzzles me why this feature is even in the game other than to appeal to the teenage boy demographic.

lol what planet are you living on where the primary market for prostitues is teenagers?

from my understanding it is generally grown men who solicit the services of prostitues

Virtual Prostitues not the real thing. If grown men are getting off while playing GTA somethings really wrong.

Moronic thinking like this is why a man can go to jail just for being accused of rape with no evidence. Prostitution is prostitution. If anything, GTA promotes prostitution, robbery, grand theft auto (surprise surprise), making it rain on strippers, mass murders, random assaults on the elderly, and reckless driving. But rape?

We can talk subjective crap all day.

Censoring free speech is many orders of magnitude more destructive. It is indefensible.

As for the the topic:

Rape =/= Prostitution

GTA =/= Life

Claiming that the game promotes rape culture inadvertidly objectifies women, actual women, further ironically.

This is literally the exact same thing as the hot cofee mod in the past. Except this whole rape culture thing comes from part of the gaming media calling everyhting misogynist.

I don't know why this reply is for me, since I never actually made a claim about the game itself. I think it's tasteless and I never understood the appeal of GTA, but I don't want to censor anything. I DO think there is a place in the world for things like hentai and sexuality in video games.

Its only too far when it goes against the political correctness brown shirts.

And if you do think it promotes rape culture, there is some anime you should see.

I wasn't talking about force in physical strength, but priving her of allowance or any other daily item isn't rape at most abuse or blackmailing.

No, it won't support it, it's the same as with usage of weapons in games or whatever. It's not as if we have mmore killers nowadays since games are more and more violent. It's even the opposite, murder rates are shrinking in many countries like USA.

But I have to say that going to a prostitute is rape in some cases. It's not as if all these prostitutes do it just for fun and to earn some money. Many of them are forced to do it with guys saying them stuff like "your family will happen something bad if you don't go to earn some money for me"

Here in Germany you find prostitutes especially from eastern Europe "on every corner" since it's allowed here and I even lived directly besides a brothel for some years and I can tell you one thing, when the prostitutes arrived (after different guys drove them to it) I saw them crying plenty of times in front of the brothel. You can't do anything for them since calling the police or something does obviously nothing since it's allowed here but many of those who worked there over the years did that surely only because someone forced them to do it and not because "they are free to do what they want"

Some do it because they want it (no other perspective to earn enough money or whatever) but some also do it against their will.

TBH if you blackmailed someone into having sex with you i'd class that as Rape lol. But ofc it depends on what you're talking about.

I don't think saying to your wife, if you don't have sex with me I won't wash the dishes can be classified as rape.

I imagine it does on the same level that shooting in FPS promotes actual shooting and killing of people. In other words; no, not even one bit, in my opinion.
