It absolutely did. And exactly why the doom and gloom for Xbox One is so unfounded. Especially with a company like Microsoft behind it.

Gamz said: Not really a come back because the Xbox One sold really well in it's first year. I mean when I think of comebacks I think of 3DS or even PS3. Xbox was never going away because they have the money to fix anything. The brand name is still strong. Kudos tho. |
I think the article is saying it made a comeback from the most hated console reveal of all time to selling well in its first year.

I disagree or people don't remember Sony last generation. I mean when they said if you can't afford it get a second job that pretty much did them in for a year or two. I mean Sony was coming off of a 120-130M unit seller in PS2.

Yep, I love Sony games and even I said "Yeah, I'll buy an Xbox until the PS3 price drops".

Or this generation starts when we say it does! Yeah, they were cocky and it hurt them for a while. I mean they were a PR disaster for a while.

I wasn't much into forums back then but Xbox PR was all over the place. They literally tried to change gaming without a foundation to talk through. Replacing Don Mattrick with Phil Spencer was the best comeback i'd ever seen because it all happened within a year. PS3 comeback took like 3.
NOPE! that belongs to Nintendo...
Similar to the ps3, the Xb1 was never doing horribly, it was just under performing and on the internet that translates into a ''Disaster''.

How do you comeback from record breaking sales? It makes it more impressive because the 360 launched with no competetion for 14 months or so. To me this is creating a story to create one. Click bait.
At most it would be the greatest comeback of quarter's history in USA for games.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."
The real test will be how far the Xbox One sales decline after the holidays. PS4 won NPD for the past 10 months, maybe it'll lose November and December, but I see no reason as to why the PS4 won't go back to consistently outselling the Xbox in the USA once the holiday season is over.
