I am surprised how interesting for some this is to start so many threads about it.
Both versions got quite a decent upgrade, both run 1080p and both run way more stable than last gen versions which is what affects gameplay at most.
Everything else will be analyzed by DF but I doubt we will see a lead which tells us PS4 has +50% better hardware while it's a fact that by pure numbers the advantage is there. Grass alone doesn't make for a +50% difference.

There will not be a 50% difference with a multiplatform game. Devs don't want to make 3 versions. There's console and there's PC. The console versions are always based around the weaker console and all the more powerful console does is up the resolution and frame-rate. Maybe a few texture improvements but nothing to show a 50% difference. It's the same as last gen, got to wait for exclusives to see a difference.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Both looks same but the bloody michael is more detailed on x1 though. It's fact.

No, he just has more blood on him...the cutscenes are dynamic, based on what you're wearing and have been doing.

well  that's weird they both have 2 cuts on the right cheeks and 1 front top..but left side is completely different..

The cuts are static. Why would XB1 michael have so much blood on his left side with cuts on the other side?

There already were.

Hmmmm, the only difference I can actually see is that the Xbox screenshots appear to have a higher saturation/contrast, which I believe has nothing to do with details, and can usually easily be changed by tweaking certain image settings.

But to be fair, I've seen other comparison screenshots where the differences were really rather dramatic and very easy to spot, with one version showing grass while the other version was just showing some flat texture.

No comparison is worth without the most important component of the game...

THE GRASS!!!

Crushed black don't mean more details lol

Are they running on the same TV/settings? Anyone who has used a proper calibration disk to calibrate their own TV properly can easily see the contrast, backlight and brightness SETTINGS on the Xbox 1 version are better. Either that or Rockstar went out of their way to give the PS4 version an entirely difference color palette for no reason :P

from what I heard MS is using methods to artificially increase contrast and colour saturation when outputting a scene since the 360 days, but in return shadow detail might be lost

you can emulate that look by upping these in your TV settings when using a different console, but you cannot restore lost shadow detail in the Xbox versions through brightness etc increase, as the TV simply doesn't receive that picture information

Crushed blacks are from the upscaler. This is 1080p.
