Even though vita slowed down a bit* Being outsold every week from old 3dsxl...it s not a slow down,but something else!

The 3DS had a terrible pricestart and lack of games, but Nintendo solved both problems quicky.

Same for the PS3, but its problems were way worse. If it wasn't for all of the support it got later, problems of their competition and playstation recognition, it would have flopped badly (also, that E3 2006. Riiiiiidge Raceeerrrrrr!!)

Ps3. It had awful marketing. An insane pricepoint, very bad first party lineup. Sold poorly and 3rd parrty titles looked and ran bad on it. I think it evolved the most during the course of the gen

3DS... after all its the only console Ive owned and hated before loving it.

Care to remind me what competing HD console the PS3 is second to ?

I have to say 3ds, that launch was absolutely terrible. Amazing how bad the 3ds launch lineup was compared to the Vita lineup. Not sure what nintendo were doing for that first 8-12 months.

No it wasn't, it was not a competing console. It went after a different crowd with different software.  I can't see how you can put them in the same race as the PS3 and 360. It sold casual electronic entertainment. The same way smartphones did. If you wanna count  the Wii as last gen with electronic entertainment such as wii sports, just dance, wii fit, wii play you have to count the iphone as well.

You can't expect recognition for making up a route, running alone and arriving at a different ending.

What the PS3 won can be reflected on the success of the PS4. What the Wii won is money for nintendo and nothing else.  The wii competed for casual gamers and lost big time to smart devices.

I voted PS3, but this is wrong. PS3 and 360 are way too close to say which one is in a commanding second place. Only thing you can say is that they're statistically tied.

I voted ps3, but it is still arguable whether ps3 or 360 finished in second place given how bad tracking was towards the end.
