I'm just going to assume this is shipped and those pesky German's are just confusing everyone. I'm sure we'll get confirmation one way or the other pretty soon.

You could get a ps4 with knack + killzone + infamous + 1 year ps+ for 400 euros in germany, on amazon.de. It was a great offer.

Even for 350 euros on some stores.

 

Now i wait for something similar for Xmas to get one.

Nah, I'll wait for Bloodborne to get one I think :D

Undertracked. And ioi is probably still wondering where all the extra sales are coming from. Clearly there's sometging seriously flawed in the tracking. U bet it'll be 1 million plus undertracked come next official announcment and even then, VGC will still refuse to change because clearly Sony must be lying.

Whilst I agree.  Germany is a relatively large market.  The rest of the EU isnt, mostly.

The tracking in the UK is fine I believe.


But the rest of the EU is the most pro Playstation region of all Europe. The one console that have the most to lose because not good tracking there is Playstation. UK doesn't mean so much to Sony as the competition.

Doesnt stop it being full of tiny markets.  The UK, Germany and France are well over 50% of European sales.

Considering France could be undertracked by similar margin, just with Germany and France  we can have 500k undertracked in Europe, but even if the "well over 50%" is true..that 50% of European sales is a lot, and the % for Playstation sales from the total sales being more dominant than any other part of the world.

If PS4 sums around 3-3'5mill in UK+Fra+Ger right now and even if you say they represent 50-60% of all European sales that would imply all of Europe should be around 6 mill. We have around 5 mill in VGC until now.

21 October, and not 18 November?
So, PS4 is undertracked by 300K in Germany?
My god...Probabily 400K-500K in France, and with rest of Europe, ABOVE 1 MILLION UNDERTRCKED!!!
JUST IN EUROPE!
WITHOUT REST OF WORLD!

Like I said, they are mentioning the 10 million number announced in August and are making no distinction between the 2, calling both sold. So either they are being misleading or it's sold through.

Not on the same pace with UK numbers. WAY better if this news in anywhere near the truth.

PS4 end of 2013 in UK: 530k
PS4 end of 2013 in Germany: 250k

PS4 end of June in Germany: 540k

PS4 as of 9th September in UK: 1m
PS4 as of 21th October in Germany: 1m


it s true!it s an official announcement!IMPRESSIVE! xbone and ps4 must have a tremendous gap in Germany,xbone was even behind wiiu with a big gap there(double difference).

Also...ps4 has sold 300k in Germany more than it has sold in its native country...sony,become a european company!:P


It still can be wrong, bad wording, or anything else.
Either that 540k end of June figure is wrong, or this 1m figure is wrong. Both can't be true.

460k units in three and a half month is just unbeliveable.
The PS4 sold 915k units form July - September in the US + 2 weeks October (probably around 135k). That would result in 1050k
Germany nearly sold half of us sales for the same Timeframe?

Calm down a bit. I know its hard to understand, but those are official words from Sony. And frankly, they have no competition in Germany.

Yea, I got mine for 299€ and I've seen several similar and even a few better deals.

Is this shipped or actually sold through? Would be completely insane if it's sold through. The true test will come with Sony's financial report and the PS4 shipped number.
