Gameboy and Gameboy colour togheter sold 118 million. I believe Ive read somewhere that GBC sold somewhere around 40M, the rest were GameBoy sales

Why are we comparing VHS to DVD? In other words, a whole generation behind. DS and PSP battled, not PSP and GBA. Still, facts are facts but they're presented in such a backwards manner.

PSP came without any security you was able to play pirated games in first months of it's release and didn't affect game sale by a lot then 3rd party abandoned it i don't know why.

Aren't both GB and GBC usually considered as the same console? I mean, you could play all GBC games on the original, and the only detriment was the lack of colour.

GB and GBC difference is the same like 3DS and N3DS.
Vita sales are maybe below 10m sold through because of big initial shipments for PS (Vita) TV in North America and Europe

93.5m shipped for PSP + Vita + Vita TV combined.
If u assume 82m+ PSP sold through, that would fit

Well done PSP! I Imagine it would have approached 100m if sony were as competent at redesigning hardware as Nintendo are. Just like Vita slim, all the PSPs that followed felt cheap- whereas Nintendo always present the opposite spectrum, increasing value with each iteration. Sales suggest the latter tactic is the better one in the handheld space.

I guess the question now is whether the 3DS can surpass the PSP?

Yeah guys so there are 93.65 M shipments of PSP+PSV

My guess from my first post is that there are ~83.4M PSP shipped and ~10.25M PSV shipped.
