@mods My advice to you is prioritize forum activity as one of your key qualifactions. Obviously temperament and mod history is important too, but make sure you are promoting active members of the forum.

This. Too many mods have been too inactive in recent months

Generally they start active and then go inactive is the issue. Like Kasz, who (as the thing on the bottom of the site that never updates indicates) used to be one of the top posters across the board.

Miss you, Kasz!

He will be back when the next presidential election ramps up I bet...
