"The Good
Core combat formula is engaging throughout every campaign
New Halo 2: Anniversary cutscenes are fantastic
Slick, intuitive menu organization

The Bad
Online multiplayer barely works"

Still, a 6 seems a bit low

Yeah especially since the issue is probably not permanent. I wonder if they will change their score then.

I havent played so I cant comment. But for last few years gamespot has improved a lot. Compared to other sites their reviews are trustworthy.

Yikes. That's a bad score and is really surprising.

A bit harsh in my opinion. Hopefully, the recent trend of harsh reviews on unpolished games, will spur developers to take more care on quality assurance before release.

Eh I wouldn't go that far in my opinion. They're not the worst but some of their reviews are about as coherent as something you find on blogspot.

Ouch!
But hey, maybe it will help drive home to people that reviews are just the opinions of individuals like ourselves, not some holy grail of objective truth.

That said, what is up with so many games launching without functional online?

That's a good question, I'm suprised I haven't seen a thread around with the chaos going on with WoW which seems to be far worse than what has been going on with MCC and Driveclub. I am a little worried on the state Smash Bros' online will be in on Friday to be honest.
