If the console gets a Wave Race, F-Zero, Nintendo Wars, Wario (non mini game), Kid Icarus, Pilot Wings, and Punch-Out then I would say yes.

There is a lot with VC, but unfortunately licensing i think is causing Nintendo problems with porting that collection up to the Wii U. Makes me sad we wont potentially see the Final Fantasy games on Wii U VC :(

Huh?? Just no.NOPE!

Graphics- Gamecube was the most well rounded and impressive nintendo system graphically respective for its time

Games- Gamecube and SNES absolutely shit all over the Wii U in terms of the amount of quality experiences they had in their first 2 years.

Edit:The only thing the Wii U has is above all other Nintendo systems is its backwards compatibility. actually that goes to the wii because gamecube titles 

The Wii U is just a slightly underwhelming mixture of the gamecube and the wii.

yeah those are some major titles/franchises that are being overlooked.   pokemon in particular is being overlooked as well.

 

I'd love to see some dormant i.p. be restablished, like custom robo, sin and punishment, golden sun, earthbound, etc.  it seems a bit early to call it definitively the best nintendo console, but reviving the pimin and starfox i.p.s are a start.

I'm not sure I have a definitive Nintendo console. I think the Wii gets the closest though, considering its own excellent library of games, backward compatibility with GC, and crucial NES, SNES, and N64 games on the VC.
