I offered a few years ago to help out on the code front, I was asked to send out an email but never got a response. Maybe he was expecting me to do a proper job application, but I was only offering to volunteer, not jumping through hoops for that.
I'm quite busy now, as I'm doing consulting work for a hedge fund on top of my day-to-day job. But in the new year I'll have some free time that I'd happily contribute a few hours a month to fixing up stuff on the site, adding user-requested features, etc.
If I'm good enough for investment banks and hedge funds, you know, I'd probably be pretty handy around here, too.
