Was this expected a few months ago?!

Most gaming sites seemed to have doubts about it, but not this bad I think.

It's rated lower than 06, which says a lot..

It's only so poorly rated because of the condition it was put out in. Nobody could have really seen that coming.

Sega should stick to the winning formula of Colors and Generation, then proceed to refine the experience in future iterations. But they continue to shit on the legacy of their iconic mascot.

I wasn't aware the lowest rated Sonic was that low, but I was expecting a Metacritic of around 45 ish. To me this game has looked mediocre from the start, but I wasn't expecting them to release it in such an obviously unfinished state.

If Nintendo put any money on the table for these exclusive Sonic games, they must be fuming. Sega are a shadow of their former selves, and that saddens me immensely. Luckily I have a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga to start playing tonight....

At least their deal with Nintendo is over and they can work on next gen sonic. Somehow both Lost worlds and Boom looked and played worse then Sonic Generations on last gen consoles.
