Ive said my 5 hail metacritics and are changing my gaming ways for the better...
Resistance, motorstorm, uncharted, heavenly sword and freaking rachet and clank? Those are all awesome, kickass games. That is a hell of a start for a console

Ps4 doesn't have a big new exclusive this holiday like ps3 hade Uncharted.
That said now do a list for ps2 in the west. First year alone:
Metal Gear Solid 2
Gran Turismo 3
Devil may cry
Jak and Daxter
Grand theft auto 3
ICO
Twisted Metal Black
Dark Cloud
These and many others within it's first year of global release. I really like my PS4 and it is selling great, but so far it's really poor in the exclusive game department.

Uncharted was a new IP then, and nobody knew where it was going. Uncharted II was when the series really took off. You can't really have a big exclusive with a new IP. Not to mention there is a league of difference between a staggered release and a near simultaneously release like the PS4. PS2's first year was nothing like the PS4's first year in terms of games development so no way would the libraries even be comparable. Its like comparing fire and hardened concrete.
