Heavenly Sword was a so underrated. Easily my favourite game from PS3's first year. The rest were crap though, even Uncharted, which has not aged well at all.

PS4 lineup is saved by Infamous, but its nothing special. Probably the worst launch line up for any console ever.

I'll take Ratchet and Clank over PS4's games.

also, wow, Uncharted came out its first year too? Even better. 

When bothering to factor in everything (1st part, 3rd party, PSN titles, etc...) and excluding nothing the PS4 first year easily outweighs the PS3 first year.

I wish I could high five you right now. I loved that game.

Uncharted was great, I'd put it above any PS4 exclusive so far.

But, the PS4 has way better 3rd party support than PS3 had in it's first year. Remember, when sites like GameSpot had specials showing the better graphics on Xbox 360 than on PS3? Funny how today, those same sites turn a blind eye to the differences between PS4 & XB1, and some even try to say the PS4 is essentially the same experience as PS3.  Got to love the double standards.

Well, I didn't liked HS too much (maybe because I played this year for the first time) and really loved UC, but I played that in 2009... So yep diferent tastes, at least there was enough for anyone to be pleased.

But you have to consider that 596p versus 600p is a lot bigger difference than 720p to 1080p as we all know.

Id wager to say that both KZ and Infamous on PS4 were not good as some iterations on the PS3 so thats another hit to the PS4.

I think this first year for PS4 and X1 have been pretty weak but I am expecting a lot less games this gen overall.

PS3 wins by a mile, IMO

Going by exclusives I would say PS3 was better. Resistance, Uncharted, and Warhawk were some of my favorite games of last gen. I'd say that multiplatform games are better for PS4 though.
