Yay for more Xbox One games

You've clearly misread the first 6 words in the OP!

I don't understand why anyone would buy Minecraft on a console... It's just much more limited, and instead of mods, you have paid DLC.

On the X360 the games community is massive, was the highest active game on xbl for the later part of the X360s lifespan.

People play for games they can play with friends/ease of access, does it matter that the game is a portion of the size of the PC version of MC? no ofc not, if that mattered no console would ever sell a game.

Xbox One Minecraft is great. Haters gonna hate but it's great to kill time in between games!

Four player splitscreen co-op.

You can do split screen co-op with Minecraft PC.
Remember, the PC version allows modding.

So the game is still more limited.

No one wants to go through the hassle of setting up Joypad and WinSplit, with the consequent game eating the resources of the computer, when you can simply set up a server to play online. On console, just pressing Start grants you the joy of splitscreen up to four player.

And maybe I'm mistaken, but Mac users get left out of the equation.

So, yeah, four player splitscreen is a thing worth mentioning from console version.

No, the only thing worth mentioning is the convenience, the functionality is indeed present on the PC.
