This game went from being a most likely buy to a doubtful I'll even get it free from the library today

One would think SEGA could do something similar for Sonic, it's getting embarassing now. Nah, it already had become embarassing like 10 years ago.

To be fair, the review sucked almost as much as the game. The guy focus on Sonic lack of speed, when there are bigger problems all around.

How can this game get CHOPPY as a negative point but no other game can? The Last of Us drops to 18 on PS3 and yet is a GOTY game? WTF?


Is framerate just important if you have to pay for your own review copy? I mean evem Assassins Creed Unity does not have CHOPPY as negative point in the review.

TBH this review tells me that the all the other reviews are influenced by $$$.

JazzB, Assassin's Creed Unity tells you all you need to know about reviews. That game is literally a broken mess and it still is get 7+ scores.

Is it really that bad just comparing it overall as a game and not expecting things, since it IS a completely reinvented sonic game i think we all want a remake of sonic adventure 1 ( me too) but then we would all bitch about it being a rehash of an older sonic game, some fans you just can't please. I think people are stuck in the past, i like sonic boom on the 3ds has some speed with good exploration my only problem with it is that it's 2d c'mon this is the 3DS not the ds it has the balls to make a 3d sonic game.

Sonic and The Secret Rings, Sonic Colors and Sonic Lost Worlds are not terrible games at all. Secret Rings and Lost Worlds are not amazing games by any means, but they are far from terrible and not even close to the level of Sonic boom or Sonic 06. And Colors is amazing (probably the only really good Sonic game in like a decade now).

The only truly bad Sonic game exclusive for Nintendo (apart from Sonic Boom) is Sonic and the Black Knight.

This statement is actually false...  Sonic Colors for Wii and DS and Sonic Rush also comes to mind for the DS. Those respectively are some of the highest rated Sonic games in the past decade. Of course Sonic Generations was released for PC, Xbox, and PS3... though I'd still give the edge to Colors.
