naw, they have nothing to gain from a price war. if PS4 went to 350, the XB1 would be 299 within months. MS knows it cant compete with Sony at the same price point.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I think this is a fatal mistake for the PS4, the X1 price cut especially during holidays can make it sell 1 million more, basically closing the gap in the US.

In his defense he's saying it'll sell 1 million more, so the PS4 could sell 77million and the XOne 78million and he'd be accurate.

Right now, sony needs to focus on making profits for their company, so I don't think they can afford to drop their prices.
