But but...Ubisoft is evil!
So yeah, I've just played through a couple of hours of this with absolutely no problems. Okay, maybe a little bit of stuttering, but nothing anywhere near close to game breaking
I haven't hit any of the major crowds yet, but it's great so far!
I love the new animations, it may seem like a small thing, but it really does make a difference. The story does have AC III syndromes where you're near the big historical events, but you're never really told that tale, you're expected to know it, or read the (still well written!) encyclopaedia
There are lots of things that annoy me, like his ridiculous jumping ability or the fact he can climb trees, but I just have a massive soft spot for all things AC. Even those chests, which are the single most ridiculous thing in any game if you as me, I can forgive them because I love running around rooftops
So an update....
Framerate is absolutely horrendous. But it is that way because the visuals are so amazing. Seriously this is easily the best looking console game to date. The texture and detail is outstanding. But it runs at 15-20 fps when any kind of action is on screen.
If locked at even 30 fps would be much better.
But reguardless, I'm still loving this game. Story is straight foward, side missions are actually fun! and I enjoy exploring Paris.
I am just waiting for a framerate patch then I will pick it up immediately.
Looks like Ubi got a bit too ambitious with the game, could've used a delaed release date. In any case I am looking forward to roam the streets of revolutionary Paris soon
I am not enjoying it so far. Only like 5 hours into it, but it's honestly a real chore to fight with the shoddy framerate, and trying to figure out just how to get over the many glitches.
I'm sure once the game is fixed it will be phenomenal.
