Certainly a fairly chunky downgrade from the Xbox One version though.

It's basically got zero particle effects and significantly downgraded lighting.
Interestingly, the geometry doesn't look significantly worse, maybe they put the Xbox 360 Tessellator to good use?

However, Killer Instinct isn't exactly pushing the Xbox One's graphics boundries, shame there isn't a 360 port, it's a title everyone should be able to play.

I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't look like they waited to optimize the graphics because game wasnt exactly pushing the one. Dead Rising wasnt even pushing it either and if they dropped the amount of zombies it could've been a 360 game as well.

Not really since the 360 hardware wouldn't be able to handle on the spot combo weapons and combo vehicles.

There were much more graphics intensive games than Dead Rising last gen. Assassins Creed, GTA, Red Dead Redemption. Yeah...no.

Its not about the graphics the hardware can't hande on the spot combo weapons and vehicles.  It would be severly gimped on the 360 and miss features kinda like the 360 version of Forza Horizon 2.

Then give them areas like in Last of US and Dead Rising 2 to put weapons together. Lower the zombie count and it should be fine. Even Titanfall on the 360 wasnt as smooth but it worked. Even reviewers were saying the development wasnt a far cry from what could be achieved last gen. GTA 5 did far more.

Dead Rising 3 on the 360 would have been a disaster not only because it couldn't do the on the spot combo weapons and vehicles it also would have had terrible load times unless they would have reduced the zombie count by a lot not to mention the online mode would not nearly be as smooth as it is on the X1.  Dead Rising 3 on the 360 would have been just as bad as the first game was on the Wii.
