I don't care about the science...more the message and the tone. I didn't spend the time to analyze the authenticity of the dream tech they were using in Inception either. Just give me plausibility and I'm good to go. He's a writer/director...not a physicist. These aren't blueprints for us to get off this planet, but rather the blueprints for why we need to save the planet we're currently on.

You found plausiblity in the psychic bookshelf? That was one of the dumbest plot twists I've ever seen.
I hope Nolan wasn't expecting this to be his 2001 because he didn't come close to that level.

No chance of that. 9.0 with ~200k ratings already. It will go down to 8.7 at worst.
Epic movie. So, so, so very good. The acting (dem crying scene), the plot, the cinematography(!!!) and that incredible music really came together to make an incredible film. But hey, I don't agree with some of the science in it so the whole movie sucks, right? Black holes are like magnets, we don't know how they work!

i think its a cool coincidence that we get two amazing mind blowing movies about outer space in the space of two years (gravity and interstellar). but i loved both of these movies. cant decide which one i loved more, both were utterly fantastic.

also, is it possible for the movie to have a sequel? i think it can but i dont suppose it would be as good as the first. |
When I read that Gravity is an amazing movie, now I'm skeptical :/
Still I will watch Interstellar since the first time I saw the trailer it took my attention.

To be fair, Interstellar is nothing like Gravity except both take place in space
I'll try to check it out when I get back home.
My lady and I went and seen it, was a great movie, the lady cried at least 3 times.
While pure entertainment...the movie is pure nonsense...
