7-Inch Display Turns the PS TV Portable

Pre-orders open November 11-30

Video game accessory company Gametech is now accepting pre-orders for a device that can attach to a PlayStation Vita TV (PlayStation TV in North America) and turn it into a portable device. The device, Dekavita7, has a 7-inch screen and is shaped like a regular PlayStation Vita.

The Dekavita7 will only ship if it gets enough pre-orders during the pre-order period from November 11 through November 30. If it does get enough pre-orders, the Dekavita7 is slated for Spring 2015 and is listed at 19,800 yen (about US$172).

The screen has a display resolution of 1024 × 600, but unlike regular PlayStation Vita systems, the Dekavita7 does not have a touch screen. The system also supports PlayStation 4 remote play and can also be used as a PlayStation 3 controller.

It's so you don't have to switch the memory card all the time between the Vita and the PSTV :)
