I didn't think of this until right now, but after the first comment they made, they tried to say that it's the PS4 that was the cause of lower framerate anyways due to its CPU.  So many NPCs in the game with so it was the AI architecture that was slowing it down.  There are a lot of people in the game, but most of them are standing in the same spot, and the other ones in the game are walking from point to point. 

So what just popped into my head? 

The game is going to be garbage, guaranteed, and it's in its alpha stage, but the game looks to run a minimum of 30fps.  Just look at the video below to see how many enemies are on screen at once.  The AI is stupid, but that doesn't change the fact that they actually AI programmed into each enemy rather than for nothing more but the AI to react when brushed up against.

Just wanna mention that the game is being developed by Omega Force (part of Tecmo Koei) a company that is far from incompetent

I don't think the developers at Ubi are incompetent either. That's why I'm talking publishers, which are the main reason behind fuckups like Unity.

Only if they lied to the publisher, claiming that the game was finished or if they dragged their feet during development and didn't work properly. But in the end even that doesn't matter.

Every developer can make an unfinished game. It's the publisher who decides if that unfinished game is released or not.

The only reason CPU can slow down framerate is because the GPU is waiting on the CPU at every render pass.

The AC Unity devs stated that the reason behind the lack of 1080p @ 60fps wasn't the graphics cards.  They said it was because of the CPU and that the PS4 version was the one holding the two consoles back.  After their big f-up with the whole, we're holding quality back so people don't complain. The excuse with the weaker CPU was because all of the AI on screen at once.

So this isn't to show off the graphics, this is to show off that the PS4 CPU must not be that bad if it can run all the AI on this game without any frame drops in its alpha state, considering that there are more AI and the AI is smarter than all the non moving unless interacted with AI of Unity.



Parity was probably part of the marketing deal.
