Nope. They obviously mean shortly as in before Black Friday, because XB1 will have no trouble shipping 4.5m units this holiday.

are you for real?  first tweet length, and now saying it could be a typo?  you dont need to defend a PR rep.  I can see defending microsoft and your console of choice, but trying to stand up for a guy who gets paid to tweet what he said.  Just face it, he did what he is paid to do.  He spun news to look favorable for microsoft.  this isnt rocket science.  He made a tweet that walks to the line in truth, and easily gets a misleading narrative out there. 

well, i dont know about you. but i like it when a person stands up for the devilish behavior of both twitter and touch key boards. they have been hurting PR for a long time now, its about time somebody stands up and says enough is enough.

Oh, that wll arrive; they will announce 20 million shipped, but not now. It's still too early for them to ship too many consoles. It would be bad if they overcumber the market with too many PS4's too early. Q1 2015 maybe.

They can always add "shortly" or "almost" in there and it will be true

So I guess that's what we can expect every year now, 10 months of silence and then during the holidays "look guys, we are on top now... in the US", which every year will probably be accompanied by the Xbox fanbase losing their shit and becoming in some cases insufferable for that time, just to then go back to wondering why the PS fanbase is so "mean" to them in january.

Good times ahead.

Okay, so they've "almost" shipped 10 million units so far (Just as we're stocking up for holiday season, by the way)

Just like how Driveclub's servers were "almost" ready for launch.

Please give us some concrete numbers next time, MS.

This can be a monster holiday for Xbox, They are starting to get known ( Atleast in my group of friends) as the system with all the games.

So essentially Xbox fans are like Sony fans but only for a few months.. Not true at all, I don't think I ever go into Sony discussions. Looks like to me only a few do do that on this site.

However every thread giving good news to xbox is accompanied by others thinking someone lit a PS4 on fire...
