The goal wasn't to stop places like Chartz from reposting data. The goal was to appease The NPD Group because they're being especially anti-leak lately and they're on the verge of cracking down on leaks.

But if you guys are just going to take what I say and repost it the second I post it on GAF...I might as well post leaks over here myself.

I'm clearly not a fan of VG Chartz's sales predictions (I'm sure you've seen me ranting on GAF about it), but the community here is solid and I appreciate the sales discourse here when it's used in conjunction with data from retail trackers like NPD, GfK, and Famitsu.
