It doesn't feel like a particularly long time since the last NPD thread O.o

I'm not staying up for this one for sure. Hopefully Keighley gives us something, we know Sony staff is deep asleep at that time and never comments, and Microsoft already blew their load today, so they surely won't be around tomorrow.
At least Nintendo are still being decent and share their numbers with the world, no matter how irrelevant they usually are.

Feels to me like VGC had PS4 take too much of a drop between Sept and Oct. Sure Destiny was huge for Sept. But the game and bundle has consistently been in stock and selling well. My guess is PS4 is more like 350-400K for the month.

Xb one didn't drop much, so I think that is probably about right.

However I think unless the companies themselves reveal their sales all we'll get is the general press releases saying which individual console won, and which "family" won. If PS4 did outsell all the other dome consoles combined I think Sony will say that. If we're lucky we might get a PS4 sold X% of the home console market for the month. We'll get nothing from MS except to say that it's Nov and December that really count.

They're all going to be boring from here on, because we'll get no confirmed numbers due to Gaf drying up as a source of leaks. I don;t think we've had hard data leaked from anywhere other than Gaf for ages. So there seem to be no other likely sources.

You know what? I'd rather speculate on no information than on the incoherent crumbs we're getting from the special snowflakes at gaf.
