Forums - Gaming Discussion - STOP putting invisible enemies in your games, developers!! The Evil Within

I dont know why in gods F***king name these devs put invisible enemies in their games. It only makes your game worse.

 

I'm currently playing The Evil Within and i'm in some type of hospital on chapter 5. There is a big room with a patients hospital chair in the middle, and there is a big gate/door thing behind it that's locked and needs a card key to be opened.

 

There is a door to the right of the chair that has an invisible enemy and another invisible enemy in the next room beside it. I CAN'T GET PASSED THESE BITCHES FOR SHIT!!! These enemies are in NO WAY shape or form hard. They're just.. Ridiculous in a frustrating way. 

 

I currently have no syringes(cure item) and i dont have much health but i rarely ever use them anyways because playing The Last Of Us on grounded mode has crafted my survival approach for the better in these type of games. I dont even really use ammo and have plenty of it so that's not the problem.

 

There is like no fucking way to tell where these enemies are at. I was luckily able to kill the 2 invisible enemies after multiple deaths and i found the key card a a syringe but i decided not to use it because i thought i would need it later. So i walked out of the room and BOOM.. An invisible enemy jumped at me OUT OF KNOWERE and killed me. I went at it again, almost killed 1, it fell to the ground and i had to move back a little before it hit me and i lost him that quick! There was no way i could tell where the bitch was at! The bitch grabbed me and killed me.

 

STOP PUTTING THIS SHIT IN THESE GAMES!!  It's almost to the point where i'm thinking about just selling the shit back and using the money towards pre ordering Smash Bros Wii U.

2: you won't get this enemy after this chapter. if i'm false here, they appear maximum one or two times other than in that hospital

Yeah, the first one in that area is surrounded by water and carts and things, so you can easily tell where he is. The second is behind a door, so if you just aggro him and then run back through the door you can nail him as he knocks the door open. The third one has to open the door to come after you, so you know right where he is. And you can always tell where they are with the crossbow because the laser from the target won't go through them.

Also, flash bolt.



I hope they put invisible enemies in SSB.

Yes, they´re annoying, but in that particular section, flash bolts make it easy, try it and see for yourself.



Never died on this part personally. I found it pretty easy to kill them and if you have a lot of ammo it should make it all the more easier. Just watch the water on the floor for footprints or shoot when objects such as wheelchairs begin to be knocked out of the way.





Yeah I hate invisibility in games. Especially online like Halo when you can use active camo



I actually liked this part of the game cause it created a cool scenario where you can see wheelchairs and hospital beds move showing they're coming towards you. Like others have said use a flash bolt and they'll get stunned; sprint up to them kneel in stealth mode and do an execution kill.
