Mario Kart, it has grown significantly in popularity these past iterations, no doubt. 4 or 5 Million worldwide sales for Smash Bros. Wii U, 6 or 7 million for Mario Kart worldwide.

Mario Kart 8.

Smash might boost hardware sales more, but I figure most everyone who will have smash will end up getting Mario Kart, so seeing as Mario Kart already has whatever lead at the moment. It should continue to stay on top.
