Hi all!
I’m reposting the unguessed hints alongside some new ones
Hints Galore!

#36 if you type in this game’s developer’s phone number in the password menu, you will get a dial tone.

#35 in this game, a previous piece of hardware becomes a playable character for the first time

#33 first game is a series that has had two revivals so far… one where the tone of the games got more serious and dark (rated E10+ by ESRB), and one where the main character was dropped from the title after the first game in the second revival. But the revivals pale in comparison to the originals.

THE game that made me buy a PS3 in 2007 at $600. Not many think of this series as a system seller but for me it was.

Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction? :D It's what got me to buy a PS3.

- My favorite entry in the Gears of War series, and my 2nd favorite 360 exclusive. I never cared much for the originals Gears, in-fact if i'm being honest i thought it was pretty bad, but with the arrival of its successor and eventually Gears 3, i became a fan of the series. I'm hopeful that MS will be able to do the series justice with Gears 4.

- The 2nd entry in what is probably my favorite series. While i never felt it never captured the same level of charm the 1st had, it did have the same great humor and core gameplay, and introduced what would go on to become one of the most important aspects of the R&C series (progressive weapon upgrades).

- Hint: I waited almost 8 years to be told its successor was in development.

This is indeed one of the best games available for 360. It has an enormous amount of content, a great story and finale (though a bit too cliché, perhaps), intense multiplayer, great replayability value, co-op and extra modes. The only thing I felt missing were riding sequences (as in 2, on the Brumak for example, or the tank) and lack of four player splitscreen campaign (would have been glorious).

Who's your favourite char?

Dominic by far. I never much liked most of the characters in Gears; Marcus in particular was far too 'macho buddy' for my liking (though admittedly he was well developed for a character of that type). I genuinely liked Dominic though, his level of loyalty to Marcus was pretty touching. The bit on Mercy... ;_;

Heh, Dominic here, too. Also, he made the Second Player cooler than Generic War Grunt Marcus Player One. And Dominic was a very important piece in the grand scheme of GeOW's lore.

You reminded me, the bit of Gears of War 3 where you play as Cole/Baird in Cole's homeland was awesome too. Very memorable, and it gave more character development to these two in a single chapter than in all other games combined.
