Donkey Kong (Hijinx) + Palutena Temple + Kirby's Great Cave Offensive + SMG bending Gravity Stage, as well as MK8 circuit + Boxing Ring +Say hello :p 

Mario Kart 8 stage is a perfect example. Look at the textures, much worse than the original game. Kirby's Great Cave offensive barely has any textures at all. The SMG stage looks just like SMG on the Wii only in 1080p.

When you're just going to copy paste an entire stage out of the game I expect it to be at least of equal quality yes. It's a 2D game, so it should look better than a 3D game.

I disagree, Especially looking at Galaxy games vs NSMBWii and SM3DW vs NSMBU.

Also copy+paste, then how would that effect the entire game? That would mean every stage has to be that detailed/upgraded/etc. Its a fighting game on top of that. Are fighters suppose to have mind blowing graphics especially in the background?

SSB looks good as it is. Not every game has to look 110% in the graphics department.

The NSMB games are probably some of the most laziest games Nintendo ever made. They look terrible. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze however looks gorgeous. Yet NSMBU somehow has a higher metacritic score... Guess that proves how full of shit "professional" reviewers are.

Though i think the only one that was lazy was NSMB2, i do agree with DK. I dont think we should look at NSMBU, but the fact many cried tht DK was 2 things...

1. Hard (like WTF?) Nobody can take a challenge anymore -_-

2. Its not Metroid. Yes though i also wished and prayed for Any metroid game from Retro... WTH does that have to do with DK:TF? Im not lying whn i say i saw at least 4 reviews literally complaining about its not metroid :-/

DK:TF is one of the best 2D Platformers of all time, currently my favorite 2D one this gen.
