Rollercoaster Tycoon counts as an Atari game, right? If not, I did play this adventure game a few years ago. Can't remember what it was called, but it had something to do with keys.

Have an Atari 800 XL and an 2600 with a handful of games for each, the 800 is pretty enjoyable but load times really take from it which is a bit of a shame considering it has some really large games in comparison to what I've played on the 2600, a lot of it's games are very weak where you are spending half the game attempting to figure out what exactly you are trying to do or what you are in control of on the screen at all.

The 2600 was probably the system which first introduced me to tv video games, Pole Position, Combat, double dragon, pitfall... some great games which had 2 player options for myself and my brother to enjoy, your profile puts you as being 19 tho... so I can't really imagine you had an Atari console in your home growing up Fory77?

Haven't played atari in awhile since i haven't picked up a new game in awhile and modern LCD tvs have a bit of issue with resolution matching. The used market outside of ebay has kinda dried up lately. Last time i played was testing out an 2600 A/V mod i bought online (didn't work out well) (i've bought a better kit but haven't had time to solder it in) and prior to that was when i fixed 2 bad RAM chips and cobbled together a working controller using 3 broken ones on my 5200.

Today? No.. Sometime in the past? Yes!

I played some Space Invaders a couple of days ago and broke my Personal Record. I rolled over the score 3 times, for a score of ~30200. It was pretty intense since I was down to one life after about 10,000. It is funny how even today a game so simple can be so intense!

I was using the original joystick btw. I would like to try a Genesis controller, but I don't have one of those yet.
