Forums - Gaming Discussion - What's the best indie game you have ever played?

What are the best indie games you have played so far?

I have played quite a few, but I didn't like most of them.

The best ones I have played so far are:

- Costume Quest 2

- Binding of Isaac

- Rogue Legacy

- Dust: An Elysian Tail

- Super Meat Boy

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is easily on #1.

It's a really good remake of the original game.

What's your favorite indie game?

If you're interested in Nintendo content and understand german, maybe you want to take a look at my youtube channel! :)

Definitely Limbo. I loved the shit out of that game.

Stick it to the man. Easily the funniest game I've ever played though I'm looking forward to Grim Fandango possibly stealing that crown with the PS4 remake

Same here, TBOI was my favorite indie game in history. Rebirth changed that.

5. Cave Story

EDIT: Surprised at the people saying Binding of Issac. I love roguelikes and I couldn't see the appeal...care to explain?

The Swapper

Minecraft

The original Cave Story on PC. Not only is the game great, but the whole original game is free. It was so good, people wanted to buy a remastered version on Wii Ware so the developer (only one man made the entire game) could get money for his work. The whole game has its original soundtrack for free as well.
