Forums - Sony Discussion - Should Gravity Rush just be PS4 ip?

Tagged games:

Don't get me wrong, I like the Vita and the game but it had a few flaws which I suspect resulted from being on a handheld. If this game were to be made for the PS4 I think it could reach it's full potential. For instance:

- Its an empty open world game. Like OoT empty. I can't think of one thing to do in the different towns other than a couple time trial missions. I'm pretty sure being on the PS4 would give the devs a lot of freedom to put anything they want in the game.

- The install base. The PS4 has a bigger and faster growing install base that is hungry for games. I'm sure a lot of people would grab this up.

- Dat beautiful HD. This game has a fantastic artstyle that would look even better in 1080p at 60fps.

Yes. Don't split your resources like Nintendo just focus on what you're good at and what's successful. I would not recommend the same thing for Nintendo but that's just me being selfish because I don't play handhelds which is what they're good at and what's successful for them.

Duke of Playstation Plus

Warden of Platformers

If it does get officially revealed it'll probably be a PS4 game.

Don't know anything about the game, but you make it sound good so I'll say yes.

Gravity rush was good on the Vita. I really hope it stays there :D.

It probably will anyway considering Sony's support for the vita, or lack there of

Gravity Rush is one of the only Vita titles I'm interested in, and as I seriously doubt I will ever get a Vita, it SHOULD go to PS4.

Game deserved a sequel and a bigger audience. Let it experience new vita (life) on the PS4. Plus I bet Kat would look pretty hot on my HDTV.

- The emptiness of the world probably has more to do with budget and development cycle than the limitation of the platform.

- Install base doesn't mean much. PS4 already has no shortage of games and will probably have an absolute glut of content by the time Gravity Rush 2 comes out. Vita owners aren't many, but they are voracious and already made the first game successful. Switching platforms would be a risk.

- Dat beautiful OLED.

In short, no.

It is a pretty nice game. One of the best on Vita.
