Wait a minute... you're asking if I'm bothered that Nintendo is making a widely-popular game available for all 45 million 3DS owners instead of a few hundred thousand New 3DS owners?

Also, you're assumption that New 3DS launches in the west early next year is not necessarily true. It could be any time next year, or even the year after. No one knows.

Personally, I'd like to play every possible game on the 3DS I ALREADY own, instead of having to buy another, slightly upgraded version of the same system.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

There will be many other awesome games anyway for the New 3DS. Why hate? MM should hold the SAME standards as OoT 3D, don't you think?

It would be a problem if the game didn't run on 3DS(OG/XL) and 2DS.

lol at people believing they've spent 4 years developing this sub gamecube quality remake . You must be expecting Zelda Wii U in 2022.

I do kind of think they could have made it a New 3DS exclusive, and as a Zelda fan whose favorite game is Majora's Mask, I think MM3D deserves that kind of special treatment, at the same time, a lot of Zelda fans might feel Nintendo was forcing them to buy a new system, one that they'd probably gladly buy, but would complain about anyway. Really, Nintendo loses either way. They either get told they should have made it New 3DS exclusive to take advantage of the new system specs, or they're told they shouldn't force consumer's hands. This isn't a new system after all. It's like the 3DS's Game Boy Color. Also, people might complain that OOT should have gotten the better treament. Finally, there's the fact that they want to get this game out soon to support the 3DS where the install base is in dire need of new games, and the New 3DS is only out in Japan right now, and Japan doesn't give a shit about Zelda. The 3DS is out everywhere and has an audience that could make MM3D profitable. Because lets face it, Majora's Mask, however awesome a game it was, isn't going to be as popular as OOT, ever, and the only reason this remake exists is because we begged for it. On an install base of over 40 million it'll be lucky to get close to selling 2 million copies. If it were New 3DS exclusive, it wouldn't even make a million. And Majora's Mask deserves better than that.

damn xbox and this forced parity clause.

You mean it....?

I would love to see every new 3DS game to have special feautures that make use of the hardware.

Be it 1x AA or better textures. or increased framerate (even tho Pokemon is prbably the only Nintendo game that has a framerate problem)

Using it in some way would be cool just ignoring the hardware upgrade seems stupid imo.

I just hope we get a limited edition New 3DS XL and New 3DS Face Plates. Dont make me hold off on that New 3DS XL for nothing.

I dont get what you mean.

If it was only available on the new one, everyone would be raging right now.

Pocky Lover Boy!
