Honestly, I could care less about Golden Sun. The first one was decent but I skipped over Lost Age and went straight to Dark Dawn. I didn't like Dark Dawn and I felt it was one of the more forgettable RPGs I've played. At this point, even though the story ended in a cliffhanger, they should just abandon the franchise and move on.

Great rpg's i would love for them to make another one everything is good and right on except for the long conversions that do tend to have a bit to much unnecessary writing, but they can fix that easily. Please make a remake with more focus on character relationships and shorter text.

They should. One because it's a good franchise, two because they can include chars on the Next SSB. :D
Sin and Punishment would be good.

You must not be familiar with the Shining series then, because those were some highly debatable great rpgs, that had good writing.

Except for Shining in the Darkness(which isn't one of the TRPGs and an absolute garbage game,) I've never played anything other than the first Shining Force and haven't been interested in playing another game in the series because of it.  I've played many TRPGs and even though it's not close to being the wosrst of the bunch, it's definitely not close to being the best of them.  It does have the basics set up nicely, but there are a lot of issues with the game.  I wouldn't say it's great.  Hell, I'd be lying if I said that I thought it was good.

Shining Force is garbage.

I disagree, the series does get a little better, it never got the chance to rise to more then above average however (which in a genre with FF Tactics, Tactics Ogre and Fire Emblem is tough to survive), because the 3 part SF3 only released the first part outside of Japan and soon after, unsuprsiningly around the time Sega went full 3rd party, they switched the Shining brand to be the home of generic anime/manga illustrations with mediocre gameplay rather then the more original high fantasy with a healthy mix of weird out of the norm elements that made up the first few games in the franchise.

I would rather Camelot worked with sega on a new shining force game honestly. Golden sun games have been ok, but never great.

No. Move on. I'd be surprised if that last game made anyone happy.

4 ≈ One

If they would make a good one, instead of debatable like Dark Dawn.

I'd love a new golden sun. The djinn idea was really cool and unique for the battle system. Writing wasn't always the best but the story was good and writing can be fixed. I'd by a 4th one day one if it releases.

I love the premise of using your magic more in dungeons and outside of direct battle. I just wish someone capable of better dialogue would expand upon the cause.
