Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Order: 1886 Will Probably Get a Metascore of 70-75

As long as it's not terrible (sub 7, probably), then I'll probably be getting. The story looks great, and the weapons look different and fun. The only thing going against it for me is that Bloodborne and The Witcher 3 come out in the same month. Those are probably my 3 most anticipated games, all coming out at the same time.

Doesn't matter how good it is, not going to score 80 or above because all of the anti hype surrounding the game.

How do you know this? How can you possibly come to this conclusion? I haven't got a clue what it's going to score because I haven't got a clue what the whole game is like.

That's a pretty safe conclusion given how lukewarm at best previews from the press were. Previews rarely are bad for such big games. Couple that with the fact that it has all the elements that lately score badly in reviews and scores seem to be more harsh than last gen overall and you have 70-75 at best.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

No multiplayer? suck a kok.

the way this gens reviews are going,..

..anything over 60 is unrealistic for the order.

What is the point of this thread? And no way bloodline settles at 83, will be I. Who cares, game could be got for all we know.

What elements has it got that review badly. I know absolutely NOTHING about this game, except the tiny section we've seen in the demo.

The PS5 Exists.

I feel like R@D shot themselves in the foot when they announced no form of MP, especially after the reveal gave such a strong impression that it would have a strong co-op element. I can definitely expect a 70-75, but maybe with the extra time from the delay has given them time to fix the gameplay issues people were noticing, and they'll actually have a game with a good length SP + goos characters and story. Here's to hoping for an 80 + if things work out. I have faith in R@D. Still buying the game day 1.

As for BloodBorne. Because it's another Demon's/ Dark Souls-esque niche title that is taking those games' formula and making it even more insane, I can see that getting a 90 + easily. The previews for it have been nothing but outstanding.

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

I have a feeling the game will be a sleeper hit since most people have been playing the same demo since E3 and we've seen nothing new since. We have yet to see whether they fixed the issues.

The Order is one of those games that I'm going to get no matter of the critical reception. I did the same thing with Lords of The Fallen (which got 69 meta) and I'm having a really good time with it. I can clearly see that I'm going to have much fun playing it.
