What does that have to do with anything I said whatsoever?  And what is this "goose" thing?  You mean kinda like the New 3DS?

Yes. *EDIT* Wait, you said "You are never better off for having LESS games." The Wii did not have as much games as the PS3 yet Nintendo was and still is better off than Sony. LOL, I'm conviced some of you dont think before you type.

That makes zero sense.  Do you even know what you're saying?  I don't understand how ...

Listen.  Suppose there were two separate universes.  Ours, where the Wii received little third party support, and then another, where the Wii had everything from the first universe, plus a massive amount of third party support.

WHICH DO YOU THINK IS BETTER.

The one with the games I want to play. If the Wii had 1000000 third party games I didn't give a shit about and one [only one] great Mario game, I'd think it is a shitty console. People have different tastes. If you cant understand that then no amount of mental medicine can help you.

I don't understand the love for Reggie at times, I wouldn't want to put all of NoA's shortcomings on him, but they've come under his watch. NoA club nintendo is an absolute joke and even worse right now, Europe gets collector's editions of games that have no hope of coming to the US (and thanks to region locking kiss importing goodbye), and why in the hell did it take a movement like project rainfall or whatever to convince NoA to port games that were getting English translations for a European release especially when you consider that the wii had turned into glorified paperweight with the lack of support it was receiving at the time?

Not to mention his excruciatingly punchable face, but that one is just me.

But what about GTA, COD, ass creed, far cry, Shadow of mordor, alien isolation and all the other AAA, AA, A third party games vs mario and zelda?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Well it would be nice to have a choice to even play COD on the Wii U.

We had that choice, it sold less than was justifiable.

Not sure about the COD part because the game prints money. Nintendo would love more money obviously.

But I do agree with the fact that I'd prefer games such as Mario/Zelda that don't come out every flippin' year. It makes the franchise less special to look forward to when you know it's out every year.

Currently own:

  • Ps4

Currently playing: Witcher 3, Walking Dead S1/2, GTA5, Dying Light, Tomb Raider Remaster, MGS Ground Zeros

Shut up Reggie. If you've got a PR message say it with TV ads.

damn Reggie you make a lot of people buthurt and I like it!

people who don't like what he is saying are the same people who buy these yearly games and then complain about Nintendo rehashing their games LOL

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Boy with this sort of attitude I wonder why Nintendo can't get 3rd party support. I'm sure when Activision execs see this quote they're just going to line up at Nintendo HQ begging to work on their platform.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Minecraft continually sells well on almost every other platform too and is loved by the children.

If you read the thread. The majority of the posts are not "butthurt" anything about what he said. They are generally casually brushing it aside, a debate going beyond the original topic, or people saying the viewpoint is wrong.
