Now that Microsoft and Insomniac have joined forces to deliver great experiences only on Xbox One we should discuss sales and the future for the series.

-Phil Spencer said day 1 sales for the game were tremendous

-The Sunset Overdrive Xbox One bundle is the top selling console SKU in November despite being sold out (comes in stock in two days guys buy them!)

I think this game can do 500k week 1 and 2 million by years end.

I think there will be a sequal! What do you think homies?

I think it will get a sequel when Nintendo pays and publishes the next game via Bayonetta style homies.

the range in the UK is 20k to 70k. I have no idea where it lands there but I feel 50k is a good number, around Forza Horizon (or just below I think).

If that is the case, US is x5 for UK, so we're looking at 250k in US hopefully.

WW 400k first week, that'd be a smash IMO.

Of course we have the bunldes that sold like crazy in the second week tho, so sales shouldn't drop as harshly as other games.

If MS have got ample white bunldes this holiday it'll easily surpass 1m.

Think MS and Insomniac are already planning for this to be a trilogy. (I know you were joking) but thought you might find that info interesting.

I'm happy for them. With SO a success, it seems quirky, innovative titles will will be plentiful on the X1.

It has been a tremendous success, both the game critically and the commercial boost from the combination of pairing a great game with that delicious white X1. Even MS underestimated how good it would be and how much people would want it.

No way Insomniac wants to work with Sony again after this. A trilogy of Overdrives on X1 this generation is a given, and it will be interesting to see where they take the franchise going forward

hmmm between this, mcc and a hopefull proper banjo game maybe a should off stay with xbox instead off jumping to sony. shame they shot themselves in the foot with drm and stuff

game is amazing!!!!, we prob wont have true figures to go by since the majority of the game sole will be digitally.
