I want them on Wii U, but 5 dollars seems a bit expensive for me.

Now, I do think Nintendo should gift the shorts for Pikmin 3 owners, so interest in both things can increase. Also, a cross buy promotion would be smart.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

It is short sighted to be charging for them at this point-  the films could be great way to get new fans interested in the Pikmin world/genre and an added bonus for existing fans-  if it turned out the films were very good and very popular the it could be the start of building a fan base to possibly charge in the future and or use to generate excitement for future Pikmn games -  charging $5 is going to limit the audience greatly and will not help being in new fans to the games -  so I don t see the point and I not going to pay for short films to find out if they are worth it - of these films were maybe I would pay the next time maybe- but def not this time

I'll probably buy both, and have already purchased the 3DS version (which I thought looked great btw), but this is just classic Nintendo nonsense when it comes to cross buy potential. There's no reason why I should have to buy the same thing twice in order to watch it on two different platforms. They should at least offer people a discount if they already purchased them on one device. Oh well....
