So I went all in and built a relatively good PC, with a GTX 980, and a core I7 5820k cpu. But now I don't really know what game to play with it that will demonstrate it's power over my PS4. Looking online, a lot of multiplatform games don't sound like they are enormously better on PC vs PS4. I am trying to find a game that will really show the power of PC graphics off. From a quick search it sounds like Crysis 3 is still the graphics king. That game has been out for almost 2 years, so is it still the case? What game should I get that will wow me and make me immediately think, "WOW this can't be done on consoles?"

I know graphics aren't everything, and for most games it will only be a small factor in my choice, but for this one instance, I just want the game that visually, will be most impressive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Congrats! I guess for visually impressive titles, you can play GTA IV + Realistic Texture mods, Skyrim with mods, BF4, Crysis with mods, Crysis 3, StarCitizen, Far Cry 3, The Witcher 2 and many more. Also, MGS V GZ will be coming out this holiday (I would try to find a great deal or wait a sale cause its not worth buying at full price) GTA V will be coming out in January and Witcher 3 in February so more fap worthy games with epic graphics and mods be coming!

What mods are those for Skyrim? Kind of been trying to find some good ones.

I just googled that game. Is it out yet? I was a bit confused, it sounded like it is out in like 2016, but that there is some sort of hanger simulation where you can stand around in your ship that you buy if you pledge money to the project.  

Are you into MMOs? I recommend Guild Wars 2.

Even PC exclusive games don't really try to maximize the hardware. Most of them tend to cater to the mid-range specs. If you want mind blowing visuals you're gonna have to look for games that allow modding.

Anyway, you can check out Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Sim City, The Witcher 2.
