Well I want Fallout 4 to get made, just not by Bethesda. I liked Fallout 3, but New Vegas is one of the best RPGs I've ever played. I feel like Obsidian has a much better handle on the franchise than Bethesda. They're so much better with writing and quests, the companions are a lot more interesting, and they didn't completely butcher the lore established by the early games. Sure it was buggy but that can be patched. Awful writing can't.

Anyone else feel the same? I'd rather Bethesda go straight to Elder Scrolls 6.

I absolutely hated New Vegas, but Fallout 3 was in my top 5 games of last gen.

You and probably every fan of original Fallouts - after all, Obsidian are people who made the originals.

But I doubt Bethesda would ever give them such freedom and required financing.

Yeah I always figured that people who preferred Fallout 3 never the OG Fallouts. It wasn't bad game or anything, it just wasn't Fallout. 

Eh, I absolutely love Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Also loved the original games.

Besides, without Bethesda, Obsidian would have never had the assets to create New Vegas. That being said...I agree with you. Loved New Vegas more than 3, and I'd rather have Obsidian do the next entry, if I have to choose between those two.

I agree. Fallout 3 was an abomination. New Vegas on other hand was a true successor to this great franchise.

Fallout 3 had just as many glitches as fallout new Vegas. I agree op I want obsidian to make fallout 4 or at least another non numbered entry. The least Bethesda could do is get some better writers.

I would have to disagree. Having recently revisited Fallout: New Vegas I was blown away at the bugs that constantly crashed my game. I immediately remembered why I had to get away from it occasionally out of frustration when I first played it. I still enjoyed it but the experience was nearly ruined because of the issues. Now, Fallout 3 had its' own issues with game crashes but they were not nearly as bad as New Vegas. I just do not trust Obsidian with the franchise. I would much rather Bethesda take it back over.

Are you playing it on pc? I'm guessing it's an issue with your setup. To act like this is just an issue with fallout new Vegas is disingenuous and frankly BS.
