The difference between this thread and Seece's thread is that Kitler is coming to a rushed conclusion over the data(Price drop failed). Seece's thread was just pointing out that the XB1 sales spiked an unprecidented amount on that particular day. Had this thread been titled "XB1 back below PS4 on Amazon," well... it still would've been premature, but less so.

What the OP seem to fail at noticing is that the thread that claimed a 2:1-3:1 advantage for X1, was clear that it was in hourly sales, not that X1 would win November with those margins. It spiked, and at an important period, with the release of cod:aw (meaning sales were really high). At the moment two X1 sku's are above ps4 and one is closing in on it. And yes, these are hourly sales, it will be interesting to see how it translates into monthly sales.

nope, the difference is that seece was trying to be serious and indirectly imply X1 would outsell ps4 with only directly putting the data that was factual. Or else what use was in discussing x1 being in front for 3 days? The easiest way to manipulate someone is conveying the truth in a way that favours you.

Kitler is just showing how pointless that analysis was by exagerating the counter evidence. And several guys were taken domination conclusions from seece op and spreading.

That could really increase Xbone sales...

PS4 is an amazing game accessory than can definitively supress the lack of gaming features on Xbone.

lower it to $300. $50 is not enough to sway consumers away from the ps4.

Going to say it again the OP and couple of others (of course eThomas) said/implied it is back to 1:1. We know very well that the #10 SKU is selling more then the PS4 #15 SKU. The #15 seller (PS4) and the #16 (XB1) cancel each other out. So therefore with just those 3 items on the best sellers at least at the time the original post was created the X1 overall was still outselling the PS4 by at least a 2:1 margin on Amazon. Not saying it is going to stay that way. Just that the original post was just plain silly.

Hello ethomaz. I do not really follow the Amazon charts as closly as I know you do. So you are saying that these really impressive Xbox One bundles have a short shelf life in terms of staying on top? I am not an Xbox guy, although I did have a 360 along with my PS3, but they really do seem like outstanding deals and I guess I am just a little surprised to hear the sales effect would be so short. Interesting.
