I would rather one winner, with majority of all titles going to that one console.

Better than me having to spend $1000 or more on multiple consoles. I would rather use that extra money on more games for the one console that wins it all.


PS2 gen all over again is what I want.

i have a ps4 and a WiiU and a gaming PC at the moment.  I gave my X1 to my cousin a while ago not cause its a bad system but because most of the exclusives on it i want i can get on my pc.  titanfall DR3 and hopefully sunset overdrive if the "leaked" ad is to be believed.

There's another side to the argument though. Having to spread your title over many formats means non of them take full advantage of a system. You also have multiple subscriptions for online gaming, and spread out users because not everyone is in one place.

You could argue that it instead forces you to have to buy 3 near identical boxes to do the job 1 could have done.

That said, Nintendo have shown why it's dangerous to have 1 dominant format both with home consoles and with handhelds so we definintely need strong competition to keep them in check.

In the end WE are the winner once we are happy with the games we play.

As selling numbers, PS4 will easy win, but it doesn't matter if you prefer playing Nintendo Exclusives Games... we play games not selling figures...

not saying selling figures are not important, just saying it's better playing games rather than wasting time posting selling figures every 5 minutes.

But I'll ask you the same I asked Kitler: wasn't there anything that remotely interested you in Gamecube and Xbox? Even if we go a Ps2-domination all over away, there's bound to be games on consoles you don't own that you want. Not console-purchase worth (maybe), but still!

Yeah, but since the PS2 dominated the XBox and GC ended up losing badly and dropping in price and/or being killed off early. That allows me to play those games for a cheap price.

Sony, and I hope they win by so much that Nintendo and Microsoft have to cease production of their hardware, and become publishers on Playstation.

I have owned every single console, including handhelds, and kept a high end PC for years. The 3DS, WiiU, and XB1 are the end for me, I will not be buying any of them. PS4 is my primary with a PC to experament, and support development of newer CPU's and GPU's. IMO this multispec multiplatform market is a cancer on gaming. Having a single platform, whether it is wholly owned by one company, or an associantion of companies is better for everyone.

I'd like it to be Nintendo.

With Microsoft in 2nd place.

And Sony in last.

But that's just me, and I would like the difference between second and first to be 15m, and second and last to be 10m.
