I couldn't care less, frankly should consoles continue to proliferate in the future I would prefer them to stop being proprietary devices and become more open source.

The one advantage of having friends that have consoles/handhelds that you don't have is that you can borrow each other's consoles and play the exclusive games! I do that from time to time like lending my wiiU for the x1 or lending my 3ds for a vita or lending my steam library for money and sex

lol that last line I almost choked on the water I was drinking

ALL THREE!

Since when has more choice and more great games ever been a bad thing?

Pick the console you want and enjoy the games it has to offer, if the other console gets something you want to play, work hard, save up and get that too, the added benefit of all three consoles doing well is the price wars make owning more than one much easier on the wallet.

A game being better or worse on another platform doesn't change how the game is on yours, you shouldn't be happy or sad, just enjoy the games you like and that's all you need to do.

Having fun with friends is more fun than insulting others for playing on another system.

its a bad thing only when people cant afford to buy all 3 systems....i full honestly believe thats what causes the "console war"

Indeed it is. Have you ever seen a wealthy gamer saying "X console is crap! I sold it because they bore me!"?. By wealthy I mean with enough resources and will to own all consoles, a powerful PC and a purchase a few games per month at least.

No. The wealthy gamer has nothing to envy since he has everything. He enjoys all the services the different platforms provide, he enjoys the different exclusives the different companies work hard to develop. No envy = No hate. By envy I don't mean "hurr durr, I have a PS4 and I want Sunset Overdrive!!", but rather a very deep defense mecanism where those who only decide to have only one console justify their purchase over and over by making excuses on why his console, which was very expensive and so they want to believe it was the "correct" one (When in reality there is no right or wrong, only subjectively).

Not sure if I explained it well, but I think you get my main point.

Sony ♥♥♥

M$ needs to learn a lesson for making weak hardware they need to go God mode next time.

VGChartz♥♥♥♥♥FOREVER

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

As someone that owns multiple of each, the prospect of any one of them getting scrapped means less potentially awesome games this generation, which isnt appealing at all.

if only people could look at the current generation with the same lack of bias they do when emulating retro consoles.

Paradox of choice: We as humans want more choices, but more choices makes decisions harder! Given many choices, we often regret choices we didn't make. But with fewer choices, we're often more satisfied, as we have a smaller chance to choose wrongly.

Why am I spitting out my psychology lessons here? Who knows...

"Never argue with stupid people. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

But... if everyone wins, that means nobody loses.

Boooooriiiiiiing!!!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I actually hope nintendo loses this gen big time so they finally going to reconsider some business strategies.
I want Nintendo back up there to compete with the big two and having third party support. Microsoft well I would like to see it, but due to the lack of success in Europe it will probably the forever second. Sony well let's be honest when Sony's studio's are up and running like they where during the ps2 and ps3 and probably from 2015 in the ps4 era, it will be hard to claim they don't deserve where they stand.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I hope all three will do well. The more the merrier... well I guess that's not always true but in this case it is.

LOL. haha. But that´s true.

I have a WiiU, my niece has an Xbox360, my nephew has a PS3, one of our friends (and neighbour) has a XboxOne, we all have 3DS´s. We are always playing together and borrowing games or consoles.

now, now... if there´s one true winner in those so-called "console wars" is .... the player. Companies will be just happy if they can make profits. Players will be happy if they have lots of great games to play
